Vinted: You sell, I buy

Despite the fact that I own far too many clothes and don’t have a lot of wardrobe space to fill in new secret purchases, selling them for cheap isn’t a problem,  they need to be stored elsewhere, begone, au revoir, c’est la vie.  I mentioned a while ago about this cool online marketplace app Vinted*, (click HERE to read the first post) I discovered many of the sellers and lurkers are college leavers and cash-strap students, like yardsale, you would find many items listed on Vinted are student budget-friendly, if you’re lucky, you would find a pair of worn classic Dr Marten lace up shoes for £15.  Very keen to reverse my role from being a seller to a buyer, I also wanted to try my luck finding a warm jacket to wear as the temperature in London has dropped suddenly and have been resorted back to wearing heat tech and flannel shirt again (now I have a caught a nasty cold).  With a handsome budget of £35, it didn’t take me long to find something I quite like, a Hollister aviator leather jacket lined with faux sheep skin for £30, a good bargain.  The jacket arrived a week later in good, tip-top good condition, the faux-fur lining needed some re-omphing, otherwise I’m very pleased with my secondhand aviator jacket.

Do check out my dressing on my profile page for more affordable items, you can swap with me too!  Vinted app is available on iPhone and Android phone.

*A little collaborative post with Vinted (UK).

  1. Jonelle – It’s from Cutler & Gross, I have yet to have my prescriptive lenses fitted.

  2. This is interesting app I might give it ago.
    Love the jacket on you.

  3. I love this look Kit, you look awesome in that new leather jacket and I’m loving those pink frames too. Your bouncy hair is still looking good too!
