Despite the fact that I own far too many clothes and don’t have a lot of wardrobe space to fill in new
secret purchases, selling them for cheap isn’t a problem, they need to be stored elsewhere, begone, au revoir, c’est la vie. I mentioned a while ago about this cool online marketplace app Vinted*, (click HERE to read the first post) I discovered many of the sellers and lurkers are college leavers and cash-strap students, like yardsale, you would find many items listed on Vinted are student budget-friendly, if you’re lucky, you would find a pair of worn classic Dr Marten lace up shoes for £15. Very keen to reverse my role from being a seller to a buyer, I also wanted to try my luck finding a warm jacket to wear as the temperature in London has dropped suddenly and have been resorted back to wearing heat tech and flannel shirt again (now I have a caught a nasty cold). With a handsome budget of £35, it didn’t take me long to find something I quite like, a Hollister aviator leather jacket lined with faux sheep skin for £30, a good bargain. The jacket arrived a week later in good, tip-top good condition, the faux-fur lining needed some re-omphing, otherwise I’m very pleased with my secondhand aviator jacket.
