The glorious sunshine from day before (minus the strong prickling heatwave) in Lake Wörthersee, surprisingly I didn’t look tanned after slapping on a kiddies sun lotion SPF 20 bought from a local pharmacy, not to mention the semi naked pouty male models tryed to catch the female sun bathers attentions, with their sculpted ceps* and packs whilst rubbing each others with sun lotion….quite a comedic moment for us girls.

* referring to biceps.
The hanger appeal of Sophie Kim’s ‘More Than White’ collection didn’t quite catch my attention (it’s an obvious case when garments hung on the rack) before they were worn on the bodies of pre-preened models, never judge a book by its cover until you read it. However the collection reminds me of the vintage white undergarments in the Victorian/Edwardian era, quainty feminine laces and flimsy ruffles, soft light fabrics highlighted the beauty of silhouettes with added personality and whimsicalness.
Sadly this is the last series of the Lake Wörthersee: Lake’s Fashion Days Visual Diaries but stay tuned for the hotel review at My Lake Hotel & Spa…coming soon. I’m so looking forward to my next series of adventure, not a clue on where and when yet.
