Łódź FPWP Visual Diary: Commercially Beautiful

17th May 2011

Łukasz Jemioł: Suddenly witnessing a live-like window display of mannequins strutting down the catwalk, models posed in their position spots surrounded by industrial props and we as shoppers (as of audience) gawk excitedly of the fantasy unfold in it’s shop window, that was the kind of feeling I felt at the show.  Key detailing: Sheepskin shawl, zipped open back, pleats, drapery, jersey layering, suede, subtle muted tones.

Monnari: I was informed that this label aims specifically at mid-market level i.e Marks & Spencer, before anyone point out and criticise my simple opinion ‘Who cares? I f**king like the it okay? The collection is commercially wearable’ Strong tailoring, prints, cinched in waist and lady like styling draws out the essence of feminine silhouette.  Key detailing: Mish-mash print, sequins and metallic, sheer shirts, belting detailing, leather, wool, fur, knits, ruffles, gather/pleated shoulders, tailored and hour glass, greens and neutral tones.

I loved how you described your experience/feeling at the Lukasz Jemiol show, it’s like the watching the Mannequine movie from the 80s.

Wow how did you dejilify the photos like this, they look absolutely stunning, makes you want to wear everything. I did love how everything is purchasable, wearable – I know that they will all be accessible come August!

@Shini – Exactly I want to buy it all I’d be delighted to purchase one of their pieces straight off the catwalk, as Yulia have mentioned they are consumable. P.s when did you start adding kisses on my comment?
