HK visual diary: Style Jam @ Electric Sekki, part 2

27th January 2012

Style Jam @ Electric Sekki, part deux.  Being a quarter Hong Konger I haven’t spared a moment for my routined personal indulgence i.e make up, stylise my hair and paint/file my nails hence the pale naked face above, I looked ghastly.  A zap of pink lips in Photoshop would have done the job nicely, but peeps this is my real un-aged face.

Gahhh, I’m very much in love with those multi-print trousers by Something Else by Natalie Wood, can I have it?

Khaki tee – ONE TEASPOON, Leather jacket – HORACE, Multi-print trousers – SOMETHING ELSE BY NATALIE WOOD, Multi-colour sunglasses – KSUBI, Black suede wedges – BEAU COOPS.  Thanks Priscilla for snapping my outfit no’2.

Coming from a family background living with 3 older sisters they work full time in corporate companies. HK is hectic and fast pace, time is money, a touch of foundation, a miscara or lip gloss is a rarity these days, unless you do the routine on public transport or on arrival at work which I see a lot. A lot more women are conservative these days, but gradually open.

I love what you’re wearing you seem to look comfortable in your own style.

I love those pants. And this is coming from someone who usually shies away from color. I suppose if you’re going to do color, might as well go the extreme route.

And to corroborate Mitcham’s comment, the same seems to go for all Asian countries, excluding Japan. An outfit that garnered horrified stares in Seoul didn’t get a second blink in Tokyo.

I rather like the no-makeup face, you look great! That’s such a cool pair of pants– there are so many different prints, but it all works really well together. They’d definitely add some serious visual rapture to any outfit. Have a good weekend! xx
