MY STYLE

Like a lady…..ish.

The time is tick tocking as I will be turning three-zero when the nation celebrates the Prince and Duchess’s 1st wedding anniversary this month, hoo haa!

My sisters have sensed my style has dramatically changed since resided (temporarily) in rural Hong Kong, loud colour and high hooker heels (in their views) were locked away from peering eyes of the sleazy countrymen and gossipy neighbours. Now that I’m back home in London for half good I’ve gravitated towards more conservative dressing like a lady-ish, minimal colour free of snazzy colours and psychedelic patterns, and ‘Oh look I have BLACK in my wardrobe!’

I once described my style as Audrey Hepburn gone barmy and for now it’s Barmy gone Audrey Hepburn, but then I can always it revert back if my mood changes.

Happy April!

My outfit: Trench coat with sleeves taken out – Old DOROTHY PERKINS. Silk print scarf as belt – MEXX. Shopper tote – courtesy of MCM. Denim shirt – UNIQLO (HK). Leather skirt – courtesy of MUUBAA (Thanks Greene & Sheppard). Ballet pumps – MY BALLERINA. Thanks SHINI for snapping my outfit.

I love this outfit exactly for being conservative. I cannot wait to see your transition to becoming more at ease again (as you are back in London…ish).

P.S. – Your blog is one of my favourites because I’m obsessed with how good your photography is!

I love this post Kit, you are looking ever so lovely. Your hair is looking lovely too- I love this length on you. I love this whole ‘back for half good’ business. If my guess is correct, living in UK/HK half and half sounds like perfection to me. I love your bright and bold style but I love the more conservative lady like look in equal measure. You never fail to look fab!
