Whilst I’m typing this post in the blistering heat in Cyprus from home and recovering from bouts of mild sickness and dehydration after 6 hour uncomfortable flight from Cyprus, feeling gutted that I had to cancel my trip to Paris Fashion Week this week, oh well (loud sigh), my health comes first and resume my blogging duty after 3 weeks of absence. Opps!
A while ago in August, a last minute invitation to The Big Feastival 2013 in Cotwolds hosted by Jamie Oliver and his cheese fanatic mate Alex James, Alex converted his farm to a land of food heaven, I brought along my sister Helen a budding cake blogger of Ms QnT as guests of Boden Clothing. This is my first time attending a music-food festival, yes yes, I’m a festival virgin! I must admit I’ve never been a fan of festivals, anything that associates with portable loos, soggy grass surface and glam-camping. After this one (fortunately we stayed at a pub hotel), I loved it! It was a very family oriented atmosphere with endless entertainment and activities, there were array of food stalls from local produce and suppliers, hanging around in the Boden tent, cooking demonstrations (big up to my favourite chef Rachel Khoo at the Electrolux tent), and feel good music. It wasn’t bad after all, do I want to do this again? Yes I would, maybe try camping next time.

Ooo la la. Looks amazing. Also, all that food has got me drooling. Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well and that you had to cancel your trip. But glad to see you are back on the blogging boat. xx
Get well soon Kit, rest well and feel better.
Your photos are fantastic, I can’t believe this was your first experience at a festival, glad you enjoyed it.
Great post! I hope you feel better! Btw, is the grey striped bag yours? If it is, where did you get it? Thanks!
Nice post.
Oh no! Do feel better. Love those cute animal balloons.
Feeling hungry right now.

Looks like a fun time. Great shots!
Funny you mention first time festivaling as it was mine this summer too. We went with Urban Outfitters to a festival in Skipton, Yorkshire, it seems like were quite similar in ways actually. This seems bigger but there was lots of family stuff to do. We actually ended up in some immense yurts, with two double beds in! Check the post out if you have a spare moment.
Great shots, what’s the salt/sugary stuff going onto? Just catching up on your posts now.
