Fine jewellery has always been an integral part of my fashion career, I love it. There are so many things to discover about the world of fine jewellery and the gemology side of the business – established brand’s heritage, expressive creations, traditional and timeless designs, the art of craftsmanship, and most importantly the key 4 factors: Colour, Clarity, Cut and Carat. I’m no jewellery expert but a craftsmanship appreciator. My middle sister Isabella is soon-to-be a qualified Gemologist and soon to launch a jewellery blog, so I’m looking forward to throwing diamond questions at her.
A while ago before I ventured off to Morocco and busy shopping for a bikini, the lovely PR ladies at Harry Winston invited me over to their salon for an exclusive preview of their latest jewellery collection entitled ‘Sunflower Collection‘, currently available exclusively at The Fine Jewellery Room in Harrods. I’m a huge fan of Harry Winston’s elaborate and explosive dimensions, these are more scaled down daytime jewels – dainty, light, whimsical and discreetly proportioned. The design line features a round brilliant diamond centre stone, meticulously framed by a halo of eight smaller diamonds – matched to perfection – resulting in a three dimensional bloom of remarkable brilliance. Ideal for the perfect summer romance.
Thanks to Harry Winston London HQ for having me over and for the wonderful time, cupcakes and conversation.
