Corrie Nielsen‘s last collection was a mind-blowing creative genius, a true master in tailoring-corsetry skills that brought us the aesthetic concept of couturier-craftsmanship.  Her SS12 collection ‘Arbiter Elegantiarum’ was inspired by Oscar Wilde’s gothic novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray (I haven’t read the book but seen part of the film), drawing the inspiration from the novel to explore the influence of the 19th century men’s tailored dress with the contemporary philosophy form of Japanese origami-esque folds – meticulous pleating, architectural shapes which is Corrie Nielsen’s trademark.  Amazing as it seems, the collection was visionally eloquent.

As an invitee I was happily provided with the new Samsung Galaxy S2 courtesy of Spreading Jam.  The phone is insanely one of the best android mobile device I have ever owned for work purpose, used intensively for live tweets and twitpics (Twitter and Weibo) in duration of 30 catwalk shows I attended to. So, this means it is the end of my relationship with the other overly-used android phone.
