Well well well, you’ve seen some behind the scenes photos from my last post, what do you think? These are my first proper professional (unedited) photos shot by a professional photographer Rui Faria (VOLT mag), I must say I’m chuffed to bits. The first outfit I created a preppy inspired look from the late 90s/early 2000, a mix of Uniqlo, Gap and Benetton ad campaigns feel to go with the vibrant red Tambourine bag. The second outfit – A young-sassy lady with an attitude teamed with a cutey MCM leather dog and the gorgeous ash lilac ostrich bag…this is one of my favourite shots.
Was I nervous posing in front of the camera? Erm…at first I expected myself to be boring or trembling with fear so but no, Rui Faria (VOLT mag) the photographer made me feel at ease and very easy to work to with. With my background experience as an Extra (another word…a background actor) in films, music videos and tv ads I thought this would help my confidence by playing a character that matches my personality and the bags itself….it did. There were lots of jumping, eyes closing, cute and girly expressions, playing with my curls….and I loved the WIND MACHINE which gave my hair some dramatic effect.
Check out the other bloggers finalised photos HERE they looked AMAZING.
And lastly, I’m blooming thrilled, flattered and honoured to have two shots placed on Rui’s website alongside with Kristin Knox of The Clothes Whisperer‘s shots. Thank you Rui!!!! Let’s hope they make it to Volt magazine ;P
This is the edited version.
