Residing at home with 4 members of my close family (1 have moved out), we known to have guilty and obscene purchases for footwear from the latest trainers, cheap worn-to-death flats, old seasoned everyday shoes to the latest must haves…worn once or twice per season of course. I have shoe boxes stacked highly in my faulty and unusable shower cubicle (and other bits and bobs stacked together), I wouldn’t dare count how many there are they just sit covered in years of dust…I need a shoedrobe to end my guilt.
Anthropologie have recently opened their first shoe-only boutique next to their main store on Kings Road, a perfect example of how I’d like my ideal shoedrobe to look if I had a spacious garden shed…or a dedicated shoe gallery perhaps? The store has it’s own aesthetic, a maple flooring, completed with beautiful rugs and upholstered furniture, the walls unique finished touches with reclaimed shelving from the mid-century that wraps the entire room.
Anthropologie Shoe Gallery, 131-141 King’s Road, London SW3.

@featherfactor – Yes it’s their first shoe only boutique in Europe/UK, the selection of shoes are fantastic esp brogues which are essentials for Brits. For US, well you may need to speak to their PR ;P
Wow, lovely! Amazing that they’ve opened up shoes only in the UK, when is it going to arrive here in the US??
Wauw, I love those white ropey ones!
Was going to say you should copyright ‘shoedrobe’ but then I googled, shoedrobe was already recognised and used Lol.
The shelves were reclaimed? Interesting Iwould do the same for my shoe storage.
