The NEXT Challenge. I was given a cream half sleeve lace top to style it up with, quite a tricky one as I don’t own any white/cream tops in my wardrobe except my old formal shirt or baggy running t-shirts. To find pieces to go with the top was a nerve wrecking one, 25 minutes of head scratching I settled with a classic Parisian look with a touch of Chanel-sque worn with a black sheer shirt un-buttoned with bottom shirt tied on the waist, a black tiered lace skirt and a black and white striped 3/4 sleeve blazer, teamed with an oversized sunglasses nicked from a nearby mannequin, pearl and bow pendant necklace, black leather gloves, an ostrich effect bag with polkda dot handkerchief, ankle socks and nautical style wedges. Not my particular style as I am not a smart wearer but I have grown to love it.
NEXT is certainly moving forward and a great example in the high street, what I loved about the bloggers event is they willing to listen and engage with us, hear our thoughts and opinions, our feedbacks…we not as bloggers but as customers too, customers are always right right? Having seen their impressive and inspiring SS11 presentation I have made a shopping list for their key pieces.
Thank you NEXT HQ and Jenny of Spreading Jam for inviting me and the bloggers to the awesome event.
I, now present you a short video clip of the event and my outfit challenge.
P.s who told me to get my legs out more often?

@Girl A La Mode – Shocked and horrified** Too crotchy? Too sluty from your angle LOL
Ahaa! I have a similar picture of you taking a photo of someone else. I didn’t blog it though as it was possibly a little crotchy.. slut!
Your outfit was so killer, the only girl that could pull off coco chanel in an instant! xx
Love.
Wow they do that? They flew a blogger from Scotland to the event? Sounds like NEXT are really serious about this collaboration with bloggers….thumbs up.
Interesting styling.
Hope NEXT do this kind of event more often, loved your challenge outfit.
