A couple months ago Company magazine invited me to photograph a gorgeous-smiley model and TV presenter, Zara Martin (Thanks Jackie Dixon) to do a feature on me as an up-and-coming photographer.  Two other young photographers were invited too, Elizabeth Angela Johnson and my new-found friend Heidi Mace from the London Lomography Store.

I shot over 400 photos in the style of behind the scenes which I am known for from my blog, all the best shots above did not make it in the page I was limited to one photo for one page feature.  Zara chose the last picture as one of her favourites, ‘This is so modern and crisp.  It shows my need not to smear red lipstick everywhere’.

Many thanks to Zara Martin for her two hours of required patience, she was a joy to shoot with which captures her bubbly, fun and girly personality.  The Janurary 2011 issue of Company magazine is available now, you can read the scan HERE.

Hair & Make-up: Aly Hazelwood, Styling: Zara Martin, Picture 4-left: Heidi Mace’s Diana camera, all photos are shot with my Canon 50D.

  6. Shame that all the pictures weren’t featured, one picture isn’t enough. But it’s great to see them on your blog.
