They look like movie stills shot from the 1960s right?  They are in fact shot with an over exposed Fujichrome Provia (iso 200) slide film which created these beautiful disaster.

All behind the scene shots (JFW) were photographed by Kit Lee, styled by Marcella Martinelli.  Shot with a Yashica FX-3 Super 2000.

  1. GORGEOUS! Isn’t there a phrase for this in another language? I’ve tried French (distater belle), Italian (distater bella), maybe it’s beautiful mistake? bellissimo errore.. nah, I give up.

    Anyway, it’s beautiful. Where is this?

  3. My friend is a lomo enthusiast, he gets the same results when shooting in bright sun light.
